How can I reach the screen of my VM?
The management interface can be found at https://ovirt.snt.utwente.nl/ovirt-engine/web-ui/.
The SPICE or VNC Console button will download a console.vv
file that can be opened with remote-viewer (aka virt-viewer),
the installation depends on your platform:
- Windows: Download the installer (Win x64 MSI) from https://virt-manager.org/download/.
- macOS: Download the bundle from https://www.spice-space.org/osx-client.html.
- Linux: Install
virt-viewer
through your favourite package manager.
How can I change/reset my password?
The password of your account can be changed/reset using the self-service portal at https://lap.snt.utwente.nl/ssp/.
Where can I find drivers?
Linux
Drivers should be present in the Linux kernel.
Guest utilities are usually available in the package manager
as ovirt-guest-agent
or qemu-guest-agent
.
Windows
An ISO with the latest drivers can be downloaded here.
The ISO includes an installer for the drivers (virtio-win-gt-x64.msi
),
an installer for the guest agent (guest-agent\qemu-ga-x86_64.msi
),
and other guest tools (virt-win-guest-tools.exe
).
